Small hideout blade

Made from a 1/8th thick Nicholson file.
Blade is 3/4 inch wide with a 3 inch cutting edge and 1 1/2 inch false edge.
Double quenched in ATF, allowed to cool to room temp between quenches.
Tempered for 2 two hour sessions at 400 degrees.
Hand sharpened on a Arkansaw oil stone.
Handle is Dymondwood Winewood secured by 1/8th brass pins.
Fitted sheath is made from 9-10 ounce veg. tanned leather, hand stitched, and finished out with neatsfoot oil. Holds the blade securely for a worry free carry.
