Small HOG???. . . . What Does That Mean?

Babirusa or babyrousa

It’s the name of a “deer” pig that have been known to die from their tusks growing to long and curving to pierce its own skull.
Having a blade that large would be “Killer fun”.

“Super small, barely noticeable”
This pig is endangered, only 4000 in 1978.

Flash in a pan” - only pig to ever have tusks like this and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The largest species of hog is sus scrofa.

The smallest is Sus Salvanius or Porcula Salvania

Population is critically endangered at 150 left “super small offer, barley noticeable”

“Flash in a pan” it’s the only species of porcula so extinction means gonzo for this entire unique species of pig.

Since they counted 150, How about Count Porcula? (Count Porkula)
Has a nice ring to it. And would be “killer” fun

Sus Porcula

And, consistent with the legends and lore (as Dracula and/or his spawn were sometimes called) "Alucard";
Sus Alucrop

Fat Back skinner
Pygmy Fat Back Defender
Pygmy Back Bacon
Flatiron Pygmy Skinner

Okay, we have small and bacon and frying/flash in the pan so I am thinking the small may also be a reference to smaller cuts of bacon. Canadian Bacon is also known as Back Bacon, and Fat Back bacon is usually cut in smaller 4"-ish blocks.. has to be something overlooked in the clues..

A set of 3 busse kunai? 3 little piglet throwing knives?

Perhaps a skinny or mini trough raider?
