I don't want to start the "small knife / big knife" debate but this is the kind of knife I carry in the woods. It is especially good for small game and white tail but I would even use it to field dress and skin an elk.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Hand sanded 400 grit finish on the blade
Forging marks on the flats
Tapered tang
Distal taper on the blade
Cocobolo handle
Overall length: 7 1/4 inches
Blade: 3 1/2 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

That's my kind of knife, too, Gerry (as you well know by now!), but this one wasn't meant to be "mine" today! Gone less than two hours after posting? Maybe a new record for Gerry's "Jewels"! Not surprising, though.
