I have a KA-BAR fixed, 8" overall/ 4" blade length. This has pinned bone handles with a brass "S" guard. The blade has a "mirrored" finish with light surface scratches. The stamp shows KA-BAR, with U.S.A. directly underneath. The blade needs a sharpening but the knife is in pretty nice condition for as old as I believe it is. (40+years?) The sheath is leather and is in OK shape with a small cut near the bottom that does not go thru. It looks to have been cleaned up.
