I am looking for help, I have a Kukri and its great but the small knife with it is not so good.

I am looking for a 2-3" bladed knife for food prep probably only a 3 finger handle.

I was thinking of a small skeleton thrower to allow me to use it for food prep and to use as a spear blade if I wanted without having to remove handles etc.

My problem is after a week of looking I can't find a thrower that looks like it has a decent edge for slicing. Help and recommendations greatly appreciated.

these actually look better than I was expecting. Are the handles easily removed?

Ag russell woods walker...10.00 scales are thin enough that knife can be used as a spear dandy little slicer.

I got a wooden handled mora, sanded the handle to a more Kukriesque profile, finished the wood with some oil, and stuck it behind my khuk. It works great.

Ragweedforge also sells Mora blades in a variety of sizes. They have stick tangs and are pretty easy to handle-ize.

My suggestion would be a puuko-ish type of fixed blade that would allow you to carve a spear- why put a hardened (and thus chippable) steel blade as the tip? But if you are set on a spear tip then something along the lines of a Timberline Mini-pitbull or CRKT Fixed Falcon should do the trick (screwed on handle scales).

thanks folks I think I will go with this and rehandle to a more Kukri'ish 3 finger design. $14 from Ragweed but I will need a UK source. If I rehandle it then I can hopefully make it easier to remove. Thanks for your help and opinions, much appreciated.
