Small knife?

I'm looking for a blade similar to my Dragonfly 2. I will be carrying this in my pocket, with a large knife (SMF, Military) in a different pocket.

Requirements:
1. One hand operation (open and close)
2. Under 3 1/2" closed
3. Under 3" blade
4. Under $300

What are some options?

The Mighty Peanut sir. Probably the most knife anyone really needs.

Edit: Oh, one hand operation? Don't worry about it. Peanut.

I personally hate small knives, but the ladybug, manbug, or Gayle Bradley Air would fit your needs. You can also get the first two in Superblue, one of my favorite steels

Draongfly would be great, the GB Air as mentioned is also another great choice. You then have the Boker Nano and Curtiss Nano, which if your carrying an SMF then the Curtiss should be in your price range.

The delica is hard to beat. I think they might be 3 inches exactly, but the spyderco sage series is great, I love the sage 2. Or a caly3 (or green dragonfly), but then I like spydercos for one handers.

The Spyderco Gayle Bradley Air Pin comes in at just under 3.5" and the blade is less than 3"

I have a black on black Kershaw scallion that I absolutely love, snaps open super fast and sharp as you need

What's your budget? ~2.9-3" blades are my favorite so depending on your budget I can suggest some sweet ones.

All these suggestions, except for the Nano, have been on the large end of my specifications. Anything smaller?

The Gayle Bradley air is a sweet little knife, silver glass fiber scales and a 2.55" CPM-M4 blade (however you'll have to mod it if you need a pocket clip). Also check out the William Henry E6 series, 2.75" D2.

Harder to find but I know a dealer with one right now is the Benchmade 480-1 Shoki but again no clip.

Boker CLB Hyper. You can find these for under $20.
This fantastic little/big folder flew under the radar of many knife knuts.

Sounds like your stats mimic a Strider PT :) and its very similar to the dragonfly. If you can find one at a dealer they come in right at 300 before shipping.

Another vote for Spyderco's. I have a Manbug and a Dragonfly, and the Dragonfly actually gets more pocket time in the khaki's I wear Monday - Thursday. Small (but not too small), sharp as heck and light.
