Where does small end and medium begin?

Here is one of my Paisano models.

6 and 9/16" over all length, with a blade of 2 5/8", I think this model pushes against the medium barrier but still on the small side. What say you?

Big and small is relative to the size of ones mitts in my eyes ...... .........3" bl & 7" OAL is a definite hard line for me..... I like to hold a whole handle........Closer to 4" the better.....
