Small, light, durable EDC for under $150

I like the mini grips, just not sure about the plastic handle. I've handled one before and that was my main complaint. I know I can get the aftermarket grips for it, but I'd kind of like it to come how I want it from the factory.

You'd be hard pressed to find the perfect feel for a knife for a $150 budget
Unless you go with a ParaMilitary 2, atleast it's made in USA.

For just a bit more ($160), you can get a ZT 0450.

Manix2 LW isn't very small at all.

I say Spyderco Native5 (G10 & S35VN). And for a little more $$ I vote for the Chubby.

Okay, so I can get a benchmade valet for $140 on midway (I can get a slight discount) but I've heard that they aren't quite as nice to open as the griptilians. Is this accurate?

My valet opens nicely one handed. However it is not a knife you can flick open. It's more of a gentleman's knife

Reminds me of a Sebenza
plain, titanium, and Blatantly overpriced.

I don't see why you would think that the 0450 is a blatantly overpriced knife.
I for one see it as an incredible value as it is almost impossible to find a full titanium flipper on bearings that flips as nicely as the 0450 does for anywhere near $160.
Add made in the USA to the list too and it's a wonder how it's only $160

I have the nervous habit of flicking my knives open so that won't work:p

Upon further review

You actually can thumb flick it but it's harder due to the scaled down thumb studs and blade. The scales make it a little tougher as well.

I just grabbed mine to check

Thank you very much! So between that one, the m390 mini grip, the 560zt, and the spyderco sage 2, what would be your choice? I have more options to think about than I started with :p

Meh not impressed with the Sage's ergos. Would take a Benchmade Sequel 707 over it anyday.

I'm with Rappy on this one. Perhaps not 'overpriced,' but the 'cons' outweigh the 'pros,' lol. My opinion, my taste. I don't find it attractive in the least bit, I'm not fond of flippers or bare metallic scales. I have no doubt that it's a wonderful knife, but I'm odd. I have a lot of FRN and back-locks, relatively speaking. :D All good though.
