I've used it quite a bit and haven't had any problem. I designed it so the lip was parallel with the spine so it wouldn't try to hook onto your hand.

What's the steel on this one? Is that heat anno? Interesting coloring.
 
J-siah-what's the weight? Approximately is fine. Any thoughts about a 1/2" version? :D I've been loving your big blades lately.
