This is a 3-1/8" closed slipjoint from Ray Cover. It is the smallest of his knife models.Condition is carried, very lightly used, lightly touched up-sharpened.There is a rub scratch on the blade,on the opposite side of the nail nick,it is a pretty good size rub scratch, but the blade does not rub,it must have happened once when it opened because of too much excessive push on it.The snap is very popping, lockup and pivot tight.Ray uses a pivot bushing on his slipjoints.Relieved ss liners,ss bolsters are dovetailed, amber jig bone scales with thin black liners.A very slim knife, nice blade profile Hollow ground ATS-34 hand rubbed satin finish, centered perfect Has a "sunk joint" ,the back of the tang is below the bolster when closed, for smoothness in the pocket.
Ray Cover is legendary amongst slipjoint makers, you'd wait a LONG TIME for this knife
This knife is really new, only came from Ray last month, but it is no safe queen.Carried one day on New Years day & I peeled some taters with it,that is the extent of it's user life so far.A nice knife, very hard to get, carry it & use it!

This was the best shot to show the rub scratch, that does not hinder performance!
