Hi,
Up for trade is a small regular sebenza, born on October 15, 2001. It has a stonewashed BG-42 partially serrated blade and the new style clip that keeps the knife in your pocket more securely. When I first got it, I realized it would be much more useful for outdoor work (trimming branches, ect.) with some serrations, so I sent it in to CRK to have them add them. Chris has a very innovative serration design that works absolutely great. Because they are spread out further, they slice very well without tearing, but still are very useful on fibrous materials like branches and cardboard boxes. Lockup is very solid; this knife is ready to be used. If you hold the blade at the right angle under a light, you can see small hairlike scratches on the blade, but there are no gouges or deep scratches. The handle is also lightly scrathed, but again, nothing deep or eye catching except a tiny ding on the corner of the handle. You really have to look closely to catch it, though. However, the clip is pretty scratched up. I have taken very good care of this knife; cleaning, lubing and sharpening regularly. I will throw in the special CRK lube I bought for it. I still have the box, card of authenticity, and the piece of rope that came tied to the handle.
I am looking mainly for folders, not fixed blades.
I like Benchmades and Spydercos, but I will consider any offer.
Pics availble upon request, e-mail me at cookkev@msu.edu
Thanks for looking!
