Not in the league of some of the scores posted recently, but UPS just dropped this on my porch. Paid $36 plus shipping :D. 2x36 belt, 7 inch disc. Made in Sydney, Australia. I think it's 3/4 HP. Not exactly a KMG, but it puts my HF 1x30 to shame.

1 question. 2x36 belts are hard to find and expensive. Anybody see any problems with ordering 4x36 from Supergrit and splitting them?

While you can split belts, it is easier to call John Williams at Klingsopre. He will make up any size belt. They stock 2X36 in all types of grit/backings.

IIRC, I have four or five new 10 pack boxes of 2X36 belts in the shop. I got them off an ebay seller cheap a while back. They were supposed to be 2X48, but he shipped the wrong ones. The seller sent me the right ones when the error was discovered, and told me to keep the wrong ones. I'll take a look and see what I have this weekend.

Thanks Mike. The video was helpful. I didn't think about cutting the joint first. Was gonna just barehand it. :)

Thanks, I'll check out Klingspor. Let me know what you have when you get to it.
