I own plain jane versions of both. Work in an office so I carry the small during the week, and the large on weekends/vacation etc.
ETA If forced to pick one it would be the large.
I agree. I have owned many Sebenzas over the years, of the Regular, Classic and 21. I always found it easier to let go of the small ones. I only have one left from way back then: a Large Classic MM (2000). I've carried it, used it, beat the hell out of it, had it refurbished, used it some more and the RIL hasn't moved from its position covering 75% of the tang. I still have more CRK folders than I need, but if I had to choose I'd keep the Classic. I trust it to perform. And, while not on everyone's priority list of features, I like that I only need one Allen wrench to maintain the entire knife in the field or on the road. Actually, I carry two wrenches just in case one screw galls and it needs adjusting. And because two is one, and one is none. I know you asked specifically about the 21, but it's not entirely different from the Classic, which was derived from Chris' original profile. The Classic is sexier. The edges are all more rounded. I think when carrying clipless, that smoother silhouette makes it carry smaller. I do think S35VN is an improvement over S30V. It takes and holds a grabby, toothy edge. But I don't dislike S30V in the Classic and a Small 21 I have. I'm leaning towards smaller, lighter gear. I'm digging the Small 21 and love the small Inkosi. I no longer have the Wilson Combat Startac. I traded it for a stock, Plain Jane (not anodized) Small Inkosi. But that's a whole 'nother wave, on a whole 'nother ocean.
