Small Seb 31 vs Mini Osborne

I’ve had both, and they’re both excellent edc knives. As long as price isn’t an issue I’d go sm sebenza all day. I’ve always thought the sm seb may be the perfect edc. Small enough, light enough, but still a tank of a knife that could handle just about any task for city folk at least. The combination of blade play and many more small parts on the Osborne to me is the difference. Not to mention maintenance on the sebbie is easy compared to the Osborne.

I'm a Sebenza fanboy, so that would be my choice. Small Sebenza is just right for me, but I don't have large hands or have need for a bigger knife from day to day.

Agree completely, I forgot to mention how much I enjoy taking apart my Seb, cleaning and lubing it up, then the satisfaction of putting it back together with the same incredible action and solid lockup. Just gets smoother and smoother over time.

Indeed, and that’s another good point, breaking in a crk is not only satisfying but makes it a forever knife.

Both are good but I think I will go for the small seb with an insingo blade
I prefer the neutral handle of the small Seb and the blade grind

I won’t mind too much about tip strength
If either tips break it will be due to an abuse

I've got a handful of Sebs and a bunch of 940's (and 941's, 943's).
I love my Sebenzas, and if I had to pick one to keep, it's be a Seb.
But, that all being said, I carry the 940's way, way, way more often.
