So, I have not sold a knife in years, and am no longer active in the knife community. I have a Small Sebenza 21, Micarta w/ Devon Thomas Damascus for sale. Years ago, I sold my whole collection and bought this and a Mnandi (mammoth) I intended to keep forever. Just don't carry this one anymore.
At one time, this was my daily carry/user (light use, but nonetheless carried and used). Recently, I sent it in for a complete refurb, including re-etching. When I did, there were few marks (stains?) on the blade that I would hope would have come out. Most of them did, but a couple did not. These marks are not too visible when just looking at the knife. I had to rotate the blade under a lamp a few times to photograph them. I guess they can be surface rust, but not 100% sure. They appear on the lock side, 3/4 toward the tip. Please see two close up pics. The rest of the knife really came back looking NIB, as you can see.
In short, I am selling this as a USER, as that is its actual history, no matter what it looks like now. The stains are there and this is NOT a "perfect" knife or safe queen. I would say, however, that it is perfect for someone who wants to actually carry and use this particular knife, but would never pay $650-$700 to do it. Kind of a unique knife in that regard.
Comes with lanyard pin, no lanyard.
Not sure how to price it, so I am going to start at $525; NOW$[SOLD]; NOW$[SOLD]/Or Best Reasonable Offer.
I pay USPS, two day priority, and Paypal fees. I will ship same day.
In my previous life, I had perfect feedback here, candlepower forums, USN, ebay, etc.
