small Sebenza, first impressions

This is funny.

I couldn't figure out who the hell you were addressing when you said "Walt". The first time, I thought you were addressing a moderator and wanted them to move this to the CR forum. Now I get it. Doh!

I discovered one of my problems in terms of closing the blade. I'm used to applying pressure to both the liner lock and the blade simultaneously. Because of the greater surface contact of the framelock with the blade, this creates an inordinate about of friction. If I push the framelock and then apply blade pressure, the lock is much easier to release.

Also, I am now using the meat of my thumb, not the tip of the thumb, to open the lock. This is pretty effective and saves my thumbnail.

It is strange to listen about knife in price range $300 and more - it is pretty hard to open and not easier to close.
I haven't Sebenza but I'm pretty happy with my Benchmade 750 Pinnacle. It has the same futures, it's very comfortable to hold, I have not any problems with operation.
And it costs about 1/3 of Sebenza!
It's worth to think over...
