  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Small serpentine two blade jack

I'm really jealous of whoever is getting that one.

Wow, Ken. That is fantastic, you work is more impressive with every knife. Great job, I love the look of this one.

This is exactly the type of "companion" knife that appeals to me. I usually carry a larger locking knife and a smaller (~3") slipjoint. Case in point - here is todays toolage:

A beast, and my grandfather's old Queen 3 1/4", two-blade slippie from around 1960. Nice design, don't you think?

Beautiful work, Ken. Yours is a work of art that I'd be proud to carry.

I have one question. You mention that the pen blade has an extension spring. What does that mean?

An extension spring fills the well between the end of the knife and the shorter pen blade. Most production knives leave this gap open. It takes a bit more time to make but really finishes off the knife IMO.

Thanks for the comments on this one! It is very much appreciated:thumbup:

Now off to the shop to work on my "reaching 1000 posts giveaway" ;)

Ken - that's another great one!
So many things to love - the long pull on the master, the swedges, the bone, etc.

And congrats on 1k!

Wow, everytime time you post a new one I keep thinking to myself "How can it possibly get any better?" - then you go and post something like this!:thumbup:

What he said for sure!

Another beauty, Ken. I like it!

Just beautiful and one of my favorite styles. (If it has some curves, 2 or 3 blades and 3.5 or under it is a favorite for me).

WOW! I want one! Great bone as well.
You are to be congratulated on a superb knife.

Outstanding Ken! Carried that pattern alot when I was growing up,only they weren't as nice. Usually a hand me down from my Dad.

Thats just a great looking knife Ken. I have a close relative of this Serpentine (Sow Belly family) in a single blade that is just a wonderful knife to use and carry.

This two blader is fantastic.

Nice work.
