This is a small skinner I finished up this evening. First things first, the left scale has a small split up front. I never saw it until I was cleaning them up prior to finishing them out, it must have come through when I was shaping them.
Steel is 3/16th O1 tool steel, HT and tempered to 58-59RC
AOL= 7 1/2 inches
Blade is 3 1/2 inches to front of scales with a 3 inch cutting edge
It is hollow ground and thinned down to a slender up turned tip, it should handle small to medium game skinning chores nicely including caping them out.
4 inch handle is dressed in Osage Orange with five (5) 1/8th brass pins.
Fitted hand sewn leather sheath holds the blade securely for a worry free carry.
Asking 50.00 plus 6.00 shipping in lower 48
I prefer Paypal,or USPS M/O.
All comments are welcome, I can use them all, good or bad, thanks

I just got the Skinner this morning. When I opened it my wife started hinting that I should give it to her. This is pretty high praise as Brenda is a discriminating collector in her own right. I pointed out the crack; but, this did not lessen her ardor. The knife has a good balance and useful shape/design. It flat just feels good in the hand and the Osage handles are very attractive and well fitted.

What a deal. Thank you for your efforts and fine product. I'm just finishing up a rifle so perhaps I'll soon have a deer to try it out on.

i wish to assure you that there is more than one person willing to buy that knife at that price. I admire the function and shape, and I'd own one with osage handle most happily.

I'd hate to start you on bad habits but do you imagine you'll make another any time soon? :)

Thanks JlKitch, I'm glad your pleased, good luck on that buck, hope it's a dandy.

mitchshrader I'm sure I will make that little knife again soon, thanks for asking
