On christmas day I did not go to the shop I did not want my wife to think that all I think about is knives so I stayed home and made this raw hide sheath. This is my first raw hide sheath and I had to do it with things I had around the house. let me know what you think good or bad.

I like it a lot Dave. That rawhide is some pretty tough stuff, don't you think? My father-in-law has made a few sheaths for me out of it. It is highly durable! Is that a bear/eagle claw? Nice looking skinner as well!

Thank you all. Keith I think it could use some color as well I will look into how that is done it is a black bear claw I got in a trade some rears ago. John thank it was some of your work that made me want to try it. I sometimes make hoop drums so I have lots of scrap raw hide and beads.

Ok ... so there was a sheath there. A nice one at that. Hopefully that GORGEOUS blade won't be seeing too much of the inside of the sheath ... that'd be a shame. :D

Larry
