Well good grief TJ... I'm runnin outa suggestions here :D I'll keep thinking

What do you think of the Texas Tiny Toothpick I posted on Page One?

You think that *I* don't want this to be OVER????? Sheesh! This is a holiday weekend and I'd like to go back to reading either of the two books I am into, or continue catching up on the series "Bones."

Actually, I think I've missed my afternoon nap I was hoping to catch about 2 hours ago.

Thanks for sharing your holiday weekend afternoon with me! :D

Go with the toothpick you chose on page one. It is just right. :D

What a great idea! I just emailed Sooner State Knives and asked if they would be able to pick out a Toothpick for me that is close to this color handle. I know that even handles of the same color will vary from knife to knife. If they say, "Howdy, Ma'am, that there little Toothpick will be exactly the color y'all are wanting" then I'll say, "Wrap it up and Charge it!" (that's my favorite phrase, how lucky can you get?)

PopeDandy - thanks!

I'll let you know what Sooner State Knives has to say.

Of course..... someone may come up with something even better by then!

Well, seeing as how you asked... I'm not a fan of the Toothpicks, but if it fits your bill, I would rather see you buy Case, but thats just me.

Now, go take your nap :D

The Sooner State folks are great! They will do the best they can for sure.

What do you think is better than the Toothpick in that handle material? Under 3" of course.

My nap ain't gonna happen today, it's already 5pm.

I am not necessary a fan of the Toothpick either, but it is small, which is what I need. This gal is of very small build, works in our Print Shop, and her pants are form fitting, so she can't exactly carry a knife that says,"Yep, if I were a man, I'd be happy to see you."

Maybe a peanut?

Judy,
Case makes an Appaloosa Green bone that might be what you are looking for. But that Tiny Toothpick does look like a nice carry knife for a woman. It made me think that maybe my wife would like one like that. Hmmmmmm.......

Yep, go with the Peanut (he says while clearing his throat) ;)

The Appaloosa Green bone is too green, not enough blue. :(

I just heard back from Sooner State Knives..... they can fix me up with that little Toothpick. I think I'll just wrap this deal up and be done with it. She will be delighted!

I vote toothpick, will fit in the coin section of a checkbook/wallet. I would guess most aqua blue/pink people would carry such.

All I could think of in the Buck world is a pink 425 little single blade lockback, but you would have to find it on ebay.....

300Bucks

Okie dokie. I just ordered the Case Texas Tiny Toothpick in Caribbean Blue, and Kenny Wilson at Sooner State Knives said he has a knife in stock that is very close in handle color to the one in the picture and he's putting it in the mail to me.

Thank you everyone!!!! I know that my co-worker, MaryAnne, will be very pleased with her knife.

No nap tomorrow, either. Ed and I are going to tape off and then apply the final primer coat to the exterior of my house. Maybe next weekend the color will go on. Yippee!!!! Bicycle Yellow house, white-white trim, and a Fuschia front door. Hey, I had to get pink in there somewhere. And purple was just a BIT much for a front door.

T.K.C. - just found a Texas Tiny Toothpick that might be the one. Take a look and let me know what you think.
That is a great looking knife. If your friend like aqua/blue, then that should REALLY make her happy.

Glad you agree! She is an artist, also, which probably explains that her favorite color is: teal/bright blue/with a bit of green/aqua.

She will be delighted with it simply because it is from me and she knows that I sorta collect knives. I only give knives to friends/people that I like.

I gave my Boss' fiance, for her birthday on Friday, a Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Pink SAK, includes a small metal pink ribbon pin. She jumped all around and her eyes got HUGE and she said, "It's a WEAPON!" (she is a school secretary and we were standing at her desk). I very slowly and calmly said to her, "No, it is NOT a weapon. It is a TOOL. Read the box." She looked and looked at the box and finally said, "Multi-Tool!" I instructed her to always reply to the sheeples (but I didn't want to confuse her by using that term) that her SAK is a TOOL.

Then she said, "It matches my IPOD! That is soooo cool!"

She asked, "Can I carry it on my keychain?" Sheesh, she was beside herself with excitement - like a little kid. So I said yes, and she handed her keys to me. I swear she has ADHD - she drives me bananas! And my boss is standing beside me, just so cool and calm as she hopped all over the place.

OMG - what have I done?

Luckily, MaryAnne is cool-headed, calm, and rational. She will enjoy, appreciate, and use her Toothpick.

Thanks again!
