Small Spydercos

Hi,

You've chosen Navigator... and for me you couldn't make a better choice. It's a VERY stout little knife (for the size of course). However, I like a zytel Dragonfly as well. It's my "office desk knife". I use it to open mail or just for any small cuts. But Navigator is sure stouter knife and I use it as my "small field backup blade" and carry it next to Strider MFS or Sebenza when in the field. Anyway, you can take a look on my rewievs of Navi and Dragon - links below. They are not in English but you can find some nice (I hope) pictures that are fully international... along with a movie clip :)

I love my Navigator, just got it from smokey Mountain.VG 10 blade is super sharp and stout, handle has a great feel and the slotted handle with polished clip looks great.

$29.99 from Smokey Mountain.

I don't think you'll find a better small knife at twice the price.:)

I'd go for the Mouse. Besides being on sale at Blade-Tech, it is rock solid, extra comfortable, and has a blade of VG-10 steel! I also like my Calypso Jr SE, nice for 25 bucks. Welcome Dialex!

I have the Navigator and Cricket and I can't get over how "big" they function for knives so small. Looks like I "need" to get a Dragonfly next!

Also, the Dyad is a neat little knife, you may be able to find one used in Micarta for what you'd pay for a new FRN one.

Any suggestions on where to look? I've been trying to find a Dyad Jr in micarta for quite a while now.
