Small, sturdy, edc.

Another option is the Three Sisters Forge Beast--custom made in a one-man shop, really nice water-jetted pattern on the scale, flips open very fast, has a great detent, and is very, very solid (fantastic .156" thick CPM154 CM blade--3" blade, 7.25" overall). The blade design looks plain, but it's tried and true and just works great. Also may have some interesting options, like pivot-bearings and ELMAX steel (mine doesn't, and it's great without them). It's good to ask.
