Hello everyone,

From sometime I thinking about to get surface grinder.
But I don't have a place for one with hydraulic movement...

90% of my knives will fit max. 300x50mm area.

And I was thinking about PROMA PBP-170M but maybe I need to look on something used and bigger ?
like Jotes SPC-20B or Łucznik SPH1 ?

I bought this one used 18 years ago for $700. Small foot print, better than any new china made in this size range. Look around for a good used grinder.

12 inch (300mm) seems to be the common size for the smallest of the units like Don is talking about.

When using surface grinder only for knives, what is precision of grinding with belt attachment ? (please in metric system ;_; )

Thanks for help guys :)

I decided to get bigger machine with hydraulic :)

Łucznik SPH1 , and will be put in garage :) Maybe I get this in next 2-3 months. ( 2.200 USD don't grow on trees ;_;)

You can solve the three phase with a simple cheap vfd

Get it now, while the offer is open and he can show you how to use it.

I got my own trick for 3 phase.

Next month I'll get 15kW 3phase power to my workshop :D
