Here's a nice small utility edc or hunter. This was one of 3 blades for a testing run of this steel. Ground from 80CrV2 steel. This steel is very tough and takes a super fine edge and holds it for a LONG time. Even after the shaving edge is gone, the sharp working edge continues to cut much longer than any other steel that I've personally used. I am very impressed with the edge holding and toughness of this knife.

Specs:

Ground from 80Crv2 carbon steel
6 7/8" overall, 2 3/4" of actual sharp cutting edge, .110" thick at the ricasso with a nice distal taper
Flat ground blade with slight convex edge to a thin razor sharp edge
Hand sanded finish to 800 grit
Stabilized Maple Burl handle scales
German silver pins in graduated sizes- 1/16", 3/32", 1/8"

$225 SOLD shipped to the US. I'm happy to discuss other options for my international friends.

Brown leather ambidextrous pocket slip sheath with flat belt loop (in the picture) is included in the price.

Merry Christmas! Thanks for taking a look.

Nice looking design. could you tell me a bit about the heat treat and RC? Is it an improved 5160? Thanks, Russ

Yes a tougher version of 5160 would be right. Better edge holding too. I don't have an Rc tester but this one would be around 62-63.
