Small utility goodness

Finally got a small utility finished that I am proud to wear everyday. 1084 steel with a parkerized finish and grey kydex foldover sheath.
This one I intend to keep and use while in my shop.

That is amazing. The grey and the blue go so well together. Love that blade finish!

that's cool. Does the parkerizing extend under the handles? Do you epoxy to it directly??

No I parkerized this after finishing it. I do not plan to do that again as the parkerizing solution is a 180 degree boiling solution and I could only keep knife in solution for 10-15 seconds at a time so it would not heat up the epoxy and loosen the scales. Next time I intend to parkerize before glue up although that will be alittle tricky I think I might be able to pull it off.

Yea I love me some grey Kydex, Not many knifemakers with this stuff you know. Its special.
