Small Vs Large Sebenza 21

If it's your first Sebenza, I recommend a large 21 to really appreciate the design. I started with a small 21 but didn't fully appreciate the design until I got a large. However, I own several large and small and like both; they all fit my medium-sized hands well. I talk about it some in my CRK Overview video (https://youtu.be/raphxLWQhro). It's long but it might have some useful information for you. I plan to do a shorter large vs small video in the near future.

I have a large regular and a small 21, the small is my EDC, very handy, perfect format, great in my medium hand. For most EDC tasks the large feels to big, much more control with the small. It is no small knife just called this way.

Despite the overwhelming decisions, you have to get both . IMO

They suit different occasions. Don't start on the mnandi.....

I have bought all of my Sebenzas from KSF! They are top notch. I highly recommend them.

I might as well get one new. Where is a good place to get one? I was thinking here

My current collection consists of ZT and Benchmade. ZT 452CF, BM 710-1404, BM 810-1404, BM 531, BM 860 Bedlam and the BM 482 Megumi. I haven't spent over 200 on a knife yet so I am a bit apprehensive.

I pulled the trigger on a small sebenza 21 with micarta inlays. It should be here by the end of the week. I will post some pics in this thread and my thoughts when I get it. Thanks for everyones input.

If your anywhere close to Yorkville, Illinois I have just about every model you can handle... Not sure if that's close enough for you?

My small micarta insingo is my favorite EDC of all time. Just perfect size for me, and that wicked insingo blade is icing on the cake.

I always wondered where you were at when I saw your profile pic. I am about 25 minutes away in Plainfield. Small world! Sorry to disturb this thread. Ignore me and carry on[emoji6]

Here it is, it is actually a lot smaller than I thought it would be. It fits my hand nicely. The only hotspot problem is the clip but I can always remove it. The only other thing is it isn't too sharp. My ZT 452CF was sharper out of the box. But I am pretty happy about it.

I thought the same thing when I got my small 21, but I was used to carrying 3.5" blades. However, the more I use and carry it the more I come to love and appreciate it. Its a great EDC size and more than capable. Much tougher than its size suggests. Basically, dont be afraid to use it. Congrats and enjoy!

Nice knife ... the hotspot from the clip is easily removed by bending down the tip of the clip +/- 1,5 mm. Enjoy your knife.

I’ll hsve my large PJ tomorrow. I cannot wait. Hoping I will like it bette then the Small.
I’m not a big fan of really large knives but this doesn’t feel or look “large”
I’ll krrp yawl posted.

Chris
