Small wheel attachment

I'm looking to mark an attachment that would go into the forks of the small wheel attachments. Can someone measure the width of the small wheel that gets inserted into the swa? I know the bearings are r6-2rs and have dimensions of 3/8x7/8x9/32. I'd like to get a sense of the full length from outside of one bearing to the outside of the other bearing.

Seems like the attachment that USA knifemakers sells and beamont sell take the same design small wheel. The tw90 takes bader style small wheels with the bearings under the rubber if you will. With this style small wheel I assume the axle is loaded so tightly by the belt tension that the axle stays put and the small wheel spins on the bearings.

Seems like having bearing on the outside would allow for better heat dispersement and would allow for easier bearing swap in case the heat roasted the innards.

Thanks for the help.

I'm not at home now I'll measure mine tomorrow and post it if no one else has. Both wheel types have plus and minuses. The wheel with the bearings on the outside sits back inside the forks. You have to makes sure it is tracking true or it can mess up the fork. The bader is a easier to get to for some applications but as you already noted the bearings are inside.

Mine measure 3.145 inches. These are Beaumont small wheels.
