So, just ordered my second Izula 2. This is the first time I've ever ordered two of the same knife. The reason I love it so much is that it's the smallest knife I've used that still had the full "big boy" knife handle. Well "big boy" in this case is my medium/large hands. :D It's done everything the bigger knives I've had have done. The only drawback is the obvious one and that is it just doesn't baton like an 8 inch bladed bowie. And now it comes in orange! :D

(I believe knifeworks is a vendor here. If not let me know and I'll take the pic down.)

I know small knives aren't everyone's cup of tea but there's some guys out there that pack them. What is your favorite small knife that has a full 4 finger handle? Have any of your small blades surprised you in just how useful they can be?

I have the original Izula and now the Izula II on the way. Ordered it yesterday. Can't wait to play. I will pocket carry. Anyone doing neck carry? How do you guys carry the Izula most often?

I like the Izula II as well - I would say my most favorite small knife is the ML Patch knife - but I had him add 1/2 inch to it when making it.

I have a nifty little knife made by Buck - the Paklite Skinner. It's similar to the Izula from all descriptions and less than $20. It takes a very nice edge and performs quite well. It doesn't have handles, but lots of people wrap it w/para-cord.

One thing that's unique to the knife is it has a hole large enough to use as a striker for my misch-metal rod. It works great and i always have it with me.

Here's a photo of it (and my little fire-making pouch):

Sweet blade. I might explore this area further. Currently I have mid-large knives, not counting folders. I do have a Becker Eskabar that I find quite handy and enjoy quite a bit.

My little ML in the middle would be my first choice for your description~

man I have had that izula 2 on order with a local knife dealer for minute. I love the izula 2 and in orange I am really digging it lol. I am going to have to check with her and see whats up.

I got an Izula 2 for Xmas and I REALLY like it.

Concur on the full sized handle. It really surprised me.

Shotgun, I agree 100% - I love my Izula II. I also have an Izula and there's no comparison between the two.

The one's I carry, are the one's I get to use more often...Not only do I like a 4 finger handle, but it's got to be thick enough for hard use.

blackjack 155 is a new one i got. Very comfy handle and a nice little knife

I don't have mine anymore, but BHK's small Cascade has a wide blade and a 4-finger handle (for my hand anyway) in a small and light package.

At the end of the summer I got a TOPS Shango in a trade, which is rather Izula-like. I like this knife, but I wish there were scales I could put on it.

The small knife I'm really excited about is an Alan Davis misery whip edc that should be coming within a week.:D I intend to edc it as a pocket fixed blade.

I find that I am easily contented with any decent medium or large knife, but I am obsessively picky about the small ones. I have had many that have been traded, sold, or gifted away for one reason or another.

You'll like it. I liked the orginal but that 1/2 inch on the handle really makes the II shine. I pocket carry mine in the front pocket.

I love my izula, I carry it in my back pocket almost daily but my favorite small woods knife is the bark river rising wolf.
