Now that would be cool. For some reason it seems as though everyone is moving towards bigger knives. A smaller Military, more of a regiment, company, or even fire team would be pretty cool.
We're working on one now. Blade length is 3-1/8" (including choil). Large hole is ratained (handle still looks oversized). It is a shorter stubby Mlitary. I don'think it will win any beaty conests, but should be functional. Model will have a Rolling lock or a "Wedge lock" (in house name).

Sing - It seems we have a number of locks in development all of the time. We give them "in house" names just to distinguish them from each other. That is just one of the names.

Maybe what we need in the FAQ section around here is some drawings of what the various locking mechanisms (other than technology not yet ripe for release) look like inside. It might even satisfy the curiosity of some of us who might otherwise void a warranty.
Starting with lockbacks, liner locks, button locks of various sorts, coil and leaf spring autos, Axis Lock, Rolling Lock, etcetera.
Steve - Your're way ahead of us. Don't have that info yet. Have not made decisions, just testing ideas.
James - We do drawings in uor catalog or our current locks. Benchmade has a drawing of the Axis. I've seen drawings of the Rolling lock...maybe you need to put something together?

We cannot show drawings of locks not yet applied for with patent office. sorry.
I always liked the military, but I thought it was a little big. So this new "Military jr" or "Cadet" or "Ensign" or whatever is the answer of my humble prayers. Way to go, R&D...
Ciao!
