Smallest Folder

I've got a Spyderco mini-police necklace. I also have three or four, one is dad's, ivory slipjoints that are used on the end of a pocket watch chain. They are even smaller but not by much.

Either a Spyderco Mini-Dyad, or else the wee little blade that folds out of my Leatherman Micra.

On my key ring, I have a M4 Sebertool. It's got a locking blade that's a little over an inch long.

I recently used a Dremel to take the edge off the blade though, as I thought it was just too dangerous to manipulate. There are a couple of ways you can unlock the open blade, but both ways involve putting your fingers in it's path. Combine that with the fact that you have to use a great deal of force to close the blade and you have an accident waiting to happen.

The point's still on the blade though, so I could possibly use it as an awl. But there's really no sense in risking having an edge on it, especially since I'm likely to have several other knives on me at any given time.

Hi all,

The smallest I have ever had was the Spyderco Ladybug. My dad thought it was so cool, I gave it to him before I ever took it out of the box. This was about three years ago. Last Christmas, I gave him another small knife, the Boker 2031 Ceramic Lockback. Last month I asked him how he liked the ceramic blade and he took it out of the closet, new in the box. He said the spiderco Ladybug was the "best little knife" he has ever owned. He has used it daily at work for three years now. He is not about to switch.

My smallest knife is a Boker Skywalker, not so small but nice.

BTW.... I'm new on the forum. Hello to all.
