History of the Smatchet
The Smatchet was used by British and American special forces (Special Air Service and Office of Strategic Services, respectively) during World War II. Designed as a pure combat weapon. The psychological reaction of any man, when he first takes the smatchet in his hand is full justification for its recommendation as a fighting weapon. He will immediately register all the essential qualities of a good fighter - confidence, determination, and aggressiveness. Its balance, weight and killing power, with the point and edge, combined with the extremely simple training necessary to become efficient in its use, make it the ideal personal weapon

Thanks b.c. molin! Keep me in mind when you're ready. I'll give you a bladeforum discount :D We've sold several custom versions of this knife, so you always have the option of customizing it.

For now, this one is still available.

So, you'll be making more of these for a while then?
I might be able to get one around Christmasish if it's going to be a continual run.

I probably won't be making another one unless I change the design and present a new look on the forum. But they are still available to be custom made at any time @ a bladeforum discount, if contacted through the forum. So whenever you're ready just give me a shout. Chris
