On eBay there is a Smith & Wesson Micarta handle knife that has a very odd shape blade. Ebay number-110134164920, it says that it is designed by Branton/Ehlers, with no first name given. I am thinking about placing a bid on this item, are you the one who designed it? Could you tell me what the blade shape is used for?

Also, who is Ehlers???

That is my Copperhead model. This was a collaboration between myself and Paul Ehlers who is one of the top fantasy designers. The blade was designed as a fighter. I still make this model in a custom version.
