Nice blade shape, but I don't know if I could bring myself to purchase anything from S&W (Taylor). In the past, there had been a lot of bad posts here about S&W and their quality.

I felt the same way. There was a time that I would not be seen carrying a S&W. I will say that the quality of their new designs has changed my mind. As a matter of fact I would put their DDR collaborations on par with Columbia River for quality.

I got mine from www.starknives.com they don't show them on the website but they are in stock. Give them a call. I believe someone said that Bayou Lafourche has them also. Their site is www.knifeworks.com I don't believe they list them either but are supposed to have them.

I am looking forward to someone else getting one so we can compare thoughts on this knife.
