Smith & Wesson knife - info?

would u say the same about the poor quality for the folding ones from s&m guys?
 
and what do you think guys, about the folding smith and wessong knives?

the homeland security for example, they look really nice to me..
 
You can get a Cold Steel recon tanto for about the same money as the Kabar. Hella good knives. Blades is about a quarter inch thick.:D
 
I can't reccomend them, since my stepbrother recently gifted me one of their folders for christmas. Just a bad blade.

That said, during high school a large black folder form S&W was my EDC and my absolute favorite knife. I took it everywhere and it did absolutely anything I asked it for, and kept it's edge. It was a great blade, until I momentarily lent it to my father to do something in the house, and then he lost it.
 
ok, i bouht the "Boot Knife SW820" at last.

what can I say: i took it because it's a really good looking knife, and actually it is. but when i grasped it for the first time, i couldn't remain disappointed by the handle: plastic. while I thought it was some kind of rubber, it actually was poor, low quality, cheap plastic.

well, i didn't expect wonders from such a cheap knife, but how could have costed a thin layer of anti-slip rubber? without even saying that i would have been happy to pay something more for a better overall quality..
