The MAGIC Assist mechanism from Smith & Wesson is a very fun little system to play with because the flipper isn't actually attached to the blade. It stays in place once actuated which is quite different than most assisted knives, it's got a very ergonomic handle, and the reverse tanto blade is an excellent all-around shape.
