Smith & Wesson up for sale

The revolution will not be televised !!! --------They can pry my cold dead fingers off my weapon, and I will then travel on to my next life.--------

It just occurred to me: one of my Dad's stories was that he'd cosmolined and buried a Thompson SMG back in the town where we came from. Right under the porch of the place they lived. Wish he'd told me what the address was too.

Anyway, like father, like son. Only mine is civilian legal and so's my Uzi.

( bumper sticker: "Honk If You've Never Seen An Uzi Fired From A Car Window", also "If We Quit Voting Will They All Go Away?". )

On second thought, maybe I'd better take the fifth amendment. Not that I've done anything that wasn't legal at the time...

Those are a few phrases i've heard somewhere. ---I agree it's not right to take away someone's way of defending their family or themselves. It goes against the very core of nature. Insects have ways of defence, bees have stingers, dogs have teeth, bears have claws, etc.--- Even the peacefull Shalolin monks have Kung -Fu.

How's this for irony? As everyone knows, a number of cities and states are suing gun makers, claiming that they, the manufacturers, are responsible for gun-related violence. However, the anti-gun people don't have a problem with violent video games. In Chicago, one of the cities to scream loudest about the need to push for stronger gun controls, Mayor Richard Daley has awarded a $2 million grant (taxpayer's money) to the company that produces Mortal Kombat, a very violent video game, to allow the company to expand its operations; i.e., produce even more violent video games. Earlier this week, Daley said that attributing violence to a video game is "pretty alarming." Is he a complete idiot or what?

On a related note, I'm not sure if everyone is aware that the Clinton administration has launched a major lawsuit (on behalf of the thousands of housing projects) against gun makers. The manufacturers don't stand a chance -- there's no way that a few relatively small companies can withstand a legal assault by the federal government, which has unlimited funds.

Basically, it seems to me, that the Second Amendment is dead. Our government is litigating it out of existence. Just remember this when you go to vote.

There was a joke about the most difficlt choice.
"A sh** (a kinda excretion) taste curry or a curry taste sh** if you must eat one of them?"
Voting always reminds me this joke.

In my teens during the 60's I watched the TV and papers about the blacks marching for the vote and equal rights. I lived in Tahoe, where there were no blacks at the time. The hotels used Filipino help.

But what gets me is that at the same time they were giving minorities the vote ( hey, fair is fair ), they were taking the meaning of our vote away from all of us.

Now everybody can vote but it doesn't matter anymore because all the candidates have already sold their souls to the special interests that paid the most.
