SMKW BCCI Meeting

Had my hotel reservation and plane ticket for Post Falls but had to cancel at last minute. Wouldnt miss this for anything. SMKW is about a 6 hour drive from my house. Driving up Tuesday. Really looking forward to meeting other BCCI members.

If your are driving up, north and on I-75, I suggest you take route 411, which is just north of Catersville. It is a nice scenic drive instead of the interstate and lots of nice places to eat and in Benton, TN, there is a store call Benton's. It is a gun shop with 1000's of guns and quite a few knvies. It is a nice place to visit on the way. It is a two lane road, sometimes 4 lane, but if you don't mind taking a different way, I highly suggest that way, instead of I-75.

I think you will have a fantastic experience at our Smokey Mountain Rendezvous. We have been working hard to tie up all the loose ends and it appears things are coming together nicely. We have several special things planned that should make this a memorable event. I think our people will be quite surprised when they realize all that has been included in the event - lots of neat, unexpected things to make is special. Also, everybody will be able to order the DVD set that will include all seminars, banquet and knife swap highlights, VIP demonstrations and other happenings. So, even if you cannot attend, you can get a good taste of what goes on. This is just one of the ways the BCCI makes membership so valuable. We do LOTS more than just sell knives and we are always striving to help our members become more knowledgeable about Buck knives.
We will also owe a huge debt of gratitude to Smoky Mountain Knife Works and to Pete Cohan, Curator of the National Knife Museum for their hospitality.
 
A little off subject. My Wife told me Tennessee will have a Tax Free Holiday August 6th to the 8th for cloths, school supplies and computers. Sorry, knives are not on the list. I think I know what my Wife will be doing when I go to the meetings.:rolleyes:

And don't forget to bring some 'Bucks' to swap and/or bucks for Bucks there...
