First off, I'd just like to say that I've been receiving the Smokey Mountain Knife Works catalog every three weeks or so for quite a few years and I must be one of their worst customers, because I SELDOM ever bought anything from them. But in the past couple of months I've bought about five knives from them and have been very satisfied

I just recently ordered a Kershaw model 1415 and a Gerber AR3.00 from Smokey Mountain Knife Works.

I was told that the Kershaw 1415 was in stock and could take up to two weeks to arive, and that the Gerber AR3.00 would have to be backordered and would take longer.

I ordered these knives this past Saturday, and I had the Kershaw in my hands by Thursday!!! And be still my beating heart, the Gerber came today...that's six(6) days for a backordered knife to arive!!! Man was I shocked..

Also I got a great deal on the Gerber because it was said to be scuffed in shipping. The knife came in perfect condition. No scuffs here guys!

Good ole' Tennessee Mountain Boys there! If you think the catalog and knives are good, you should see there knife display! It takes you about 3 hours to go thru the store!

Mike, you're right, their display is awesome. They've got alot of stuff not in the catalogs including customs and Randalls.
I've been there 3 times and cant wait to go again on my way to visit my brother in Nashville.
