Up for sale is a very special Spyderco Southard that has been modified by Kevin Smock into a mini-southard.
I've been a big supporter of Smock's work for many years, and this knife was in the making for a very long time. I think its been in a few of his YT vids and IG posts; if you're not familiar with Smock's mini-southard mod, check them out. I had this in my display, unused. Lockup, centering, and action is as good as it was from the factory. This knife is special to me so I'm hoping it will go to a good home.
I've had so many options made by Kevin that provides multiple ways it can be set up. Here's what it has;
Rounded polished spine
2-tone blade with satin flats
Upgraded caged pivot bearings
Upgraded washers (not installed)
Deep bronze stonewashed anodization
STR deep carry clip along with standard clip
Copper lightening strike red CF scale
Copper lightening strike red CF over-travel stop
Titanium liner delete in the same bronze anodization
Titanium floating backspacer finished in polished orange peel bronze anodization, bronze spacers
Titanium over-travel stop in same orange peel bronze
Polished stock barrel spacers
