Smoke and Good Thoughts Needed

I apologize for my absence Steely, stay strong my friend, she will be fine. Tons of Smoke and Prayer from the south. I am actually going to a Breast Cancer walk this morning, I will pray for your wife. One thing I can tell you as a cancer survivor myself, you have to have a fighter/positive attitude. Sometimes they find small lumps and they are just cysts or fibrous tissue and are fine. Keep you chin up and all will be well!!!
 
Thanks again, my friends. She's super anxious, but I treated her to a deluxe back rub to knead out the kinks last night:D We'll feel better about everything tomorrow afternoon either way. Either a huge sigh of relief or a battle plan.

Once again, I can't thank you all enough. We were able to score a couple of tickets to a Barenaked Ladies concert (the quirky Canadian band, not..well, not actual bare, naked...just, nevermind:p) for this coming Saturday in Louisville. Either way, it's giving her something to look forward to since she's been wanting to see them in concert since college. We're staying hopeful and positive whatever the tests show.

Have not been around here much of late. Been dealing with my own family, health and assorted "life" issues for a while now. Though we've never met, I've always considered you to be on the short list of good guys (and the even shorter list of really good guys). Maybe it's partly the Indiana connection. My wife is a Hoosier and still has family there. Maybe it's partly your dedication and loyalty to Yangdu and HI. Whatever forces of the universe may exist, I believe they have special plans for you and your family. I hope these current circumstances are just a minor bump in the road. Prayers and good thoughts being sent from SC.

Hoosiers? Awesome! Went to Purdue for quite some time. Also been in the south a couple of times mainly for the Patoka lake marathons and hiking and some conferences in Bloomington.
What was the name of the "coming of age" movie were the kid in Indiana was such a big fan of the Italian bicycle racing team that he started to talk Italian himself? I really liked that old movie and would love to rent it from Netflix.

Best wishes and prayers. My mother just beat leukemia< and I am a non-hodgkins lymphoma survivor. Stay POSITIVE! The mind is the most powerful ally, next to medical science.

After 2 tense hours of waiting and multiple texts from her to ke in the waiting room, we got an ALL CLEAR. The area was just a dense piece of tissue that they will use as a baseline down the road.

In short...we're ok. She's fine. I'm relieved. We just split our second bottle of celebratory wine.
