Smoke And Prayers to Oklahoma!

Have been watching and praying for all for hours...especially for the parents that lost children in Plaza Elementary.

Tragic news. Just heard about this. Prayers to everyone affected by this terrible tornado.

Tragic event, and a very sad day. I think there is over 90(over 20, media had it wrong last night) confirmed deaths now, and I'm sure that number will go even higher. Terrible news about the elementary school.
Thoughts go out to all that have been affected by this tragic event.

Today was a horrific day. The sirens went off just as I was getting my kids down into a safe place. We were very lucky that it didn't hit us but it was very close. However, there are many who were not as fortunate. This is one of those nights were you tuck your kids in extra tight.

As an Oklahoman it is overwhelming to see the amount of support that comes from all parts of the state and the community, and even from other states, towns, and communities. Everyone just lines up with arms open, ready to help.

I have a dear friend who lives about an hour East of Oklahoma City. Needless to say, I'm keeping a close eye on the weather reports.

Prayers sent!

A good friends family lives there....all are fine....Smoke and Prayers for all in this trying time!

Prayers for all those involved who are without homes, have lost loved ones, and who are still separated and looking for their families. Also prayers for all of the rescue workers and volunteers dealing with further complicating weather today.

No matter how hard or bad things can get in this state, Oklahoman's have the strength to pull through. I've lived here my whole life. I've worked and walked all over this state and it has always been a special place to me. I know I am not alone in saying that. It's always amazing to see those who have ties in this state and how much they mean to them. The outpouring of support is incredible. My heart goes out for all of you.

prayers sent, being from Alabama I know many people who were effected by the tornado that hit us a few years back, a lot of people I knew got killed, and even more homes were destroyed, God Bless them, and the first responders...
