Smoke And Prayers to Oklahoma!

IF, hang on in there brother!

Thanks Brother! I live in Moore about an 1/8th of a mile from the Warren Theater that was destroyed. My house and my truck have extreme damage and my truck will probably be non repairable. My wife was at home when it hit and she rode it out in the cellar. I was working to restore power from the tornado the day before in Norman when I got a call from a coworker saying my neighborhood had been destroyed. Luckily my wife and dogs were fine but my house needs some work. We have been working 16 hour days trying to restore power to Norman and Moore and it looks like I will doing that for 7 days a week for at least the next month. My heart and prayers go out to those affected.

Well I just delivered some items to a church that is organizing some of the clean up and volunteers. Part of the city looks like a land fill. I couldn't have imagined the amount of destruction that tornado caused. But there are hundreds of volunteers here. The number of people willing to help is amazing.

infocus good to see you on here brother. Glad that you guys are ok. Lots of prayers heading your way.

Thanks Josh! We are lucky that's for sure! We have been working non stop to restore power so it has kept me away from the swamp. I plan on swimming in those murky waters as soon as we get freed up! Thanks for the prayers buddy!

President was here earlier today and it was a mad house! Police and military everywhere! It took me an hour to drive two miles from my work to my house. People seem to be in good spirits even after losing everything. Many people have funny signs in their yards like "welcome to paradise", "newly remodeled home for sale", "landscaper needed", "steal here, die here". One house has a what looks to be a new chevy truck wadded up in a ball in his yard with a sign saying "for sale, light hail damage but very dependable and new tires!".
