I am praying for you and your son, Time moves sooo slowly when one of our own is in distress. Keep the faith, Modern Medicine has made Great strides in infant care in the last few years, He will be fine, be strong for him and your wife, you have many on forum praying for you.

Thanks so much to all of you! Believe it or not, all the words of encouragement have been a great help already. Heading back to "play' with Conor now :)...The BladeForums community is the best!

Hey AR...

Not a problem at all....

Know that you Always have a place to come and vent. Theres always someone here to listen...

These people helped me through the twins birth and then my son's major head surgery, by sending Love and Well Wishes.

One day, you will be on this end, and will do the same for others...

Stay strong Brother!

Hi All,

Just sitting down after visiting Conor...he is showing improvement! Respiration is better and his meds are being reduced as well. Trying really hard not to get too excited, but we hope he may be 'turning the corner'. They tell us that once that happens, he could really get better very quickly. Man, I hope so! Thanks again to everyone! You guys are the greatest.

Good News Update! Conor was taken off the ventilator today! Its hard to describe the feeling of relief we've experienced. We could hear him cry and making "baby sounds' for virtually the first time. We still have a ways to go but we hope the tide has turned. You guys have really helped and my wife and I very much appreciate it. Bless you all.

Glad to hear that he's making improvement. Day by day things will keep getting better and better.

Your son and your whole family are in my thoughts.

That's great news! Hopefully you will soon be on your way home with him. It always amazes me how resilient the little guys are. I watch my two three year olds take falls that would leave me in traction, and they just jump up and keep running.

Keep us informed of Conor's progress, and post some pics if you've got them...;)

My older son was born 2 months early, emergency c-section, spent about 4 weeks in the hospital. He's 6' 5" now, 21 yrs old.

Best of luck.

Thanks again everyone. Best day yet today..I got to hold him for 45 minutes! The next hurdle is to get his breathing rate down some so he can have Mother's milk. Feeling great at the moment! :)
