I talked to a good friend of mine tonight that I hadn't spoken to in 2 or 3 weeks.
It seems his new baby boy- only, um, 4 months old, I think, has RSV, and in this case, it was pretty serious.

His little baby spent a week in the hospital, and they could do little more than try to find veins to IV fluids...:(

This is a good, good man, and I'd appreciated prayers and kind thoughts for a tired, stressed, and worried dad and mom, and a poor little baby that I'd dearly love to see grow up into a fine, healthy man.

You bet John! I feel for him. My baby girl got meningitis when she was just a few weeks old and we worried to death. All the best.

Thanks, guys.

My friend also has another youngster who's also been sick (thought not quite as
sick as little bro), and all this has been quite a strain on the family.
 
Prayers and sincere best wishes for the little fellow to triumph over such a tough challenge so early in life. He's too young to know what's going on, but please convey to his parents that we're pulling for him all the way.

Childhood illness is tough . The run of the mill coughsand colds and even worse are part of growing up and I think part of what makes our immune sytem strong . When it comes to things no-one should face let alone a kid it makes me think long and hard about how good me and mine have got it . Smoke is sent .
