Smoke for a good man and friend

Thanks, everyone.

Sometimes, you just wish you could take it for somebody, you know? I can only
imagine what it must be like for a big, tough daddy to see the baby he calls "little man" to be going through this, with so little to be done. Thanks again.

John

Sorry to hear that man. Prayers from Atlanta. My wife says one of our close friends had a son that had that. The little brute is ok now. Last time we cooked out at their place he said, "Watchis." Then head butted a steel post in their garage. He soes have asthmath though. Smoke up regardless.

It seems his new baby boy- only, um, 4 months old, I think, has RSV, and in this case, it was pretty serious.

Certainly!

Prayers for the whole family!

Guys,

I am over whelmed by your kindness.

Thanks to John for starting this thread.

I had to change jobs...now with more hours so I could swing the hospital bills...

The job I had before allowed me some shop time in the mornings and evenings...had to give that up so I could take care of my little ones...

All of us who are parents know how that is...

My little man...Jon Henry...is just 4 months...and he had us worried...he was turning sort of a gray color...lost a bunch of weight...Wendy and I took turns staying with him at the hospital...and taking care of my daughter Emi...we were sleeping in 3 hours shifts...the day we got Jon Henry from the hospital...Emi got Rota VIrus...and started to vomit...every twenty minutes for about 48 hours...she was wrecked..poor little girl...she cvouldn't eat...started to refuse liquids...and finally quit talking...instead just sort of made painful little cries...the diahrea hit on day two...and we were ready to take her to the ER...our Ped's Doc...basically said all we could do was wait....

So we waited...she started taking liquid on day 4....

Wendy and I missed a lot of work...that's why I was selling all my stuff...for anything I could get for it...trying to keep going...somehow...

Right now....Emi is sick again...high fever...about 103...again nothing Doc will do but treat the symptom and wait....lots of congestion...achy...rough on her...waiting now to see if Jon Henry will be sick again as well...

It has been tough for both my little ones...

Wendy and I want to thank you all for your kind thoughts and smokes going up from around the world...

ONe thing I said to John on the phone....something it took me forty years to learn...nothing is more important than family...you all have proved that...

SOrry it took so long to jump in...not much time for computers these days...

Shane

Thanks for the update, Shane.

We'll keep you, Emi Lou, precious little Jon Henry, and Wendy in our prayers.

John

Shane,

Hang in there. I remember being near mortal sickness as a child, and my parent's love pulled me through- the contact, the connection (the thread that binds).
Prayers from Montana for parents and little ones.
