That's awesome use of the barbecue stand and side burner. You should make a sign for the wall above the oven "Home of the 10 second hot dog". :)

I just moved my forge to an old barbecue stand.

Nice photos. I would, however make a separate stand for the quench tank and put it about 4-5 feet away from the oven and use a much longer propane hose if you are to continue heating the oil on a burner. The combination of a high heat source and a pot of flaming oil fumes could be a bad one. The same goes for a propane tank drenched in flaming oil.
At a minimum, move the oven to the other end of the stand, and use a longer propane hose.

Stacy agreed just used what was on there...
Old BBQ cost me $5 from a neighbors Yard Sale.

I put our old propane bbq out next to the road yesterday and it last 3 hours until someone took it home.

Where's the kid at in these photo? I see an old guy and his faithful dog?

Have you given any though about building a solar forge? :D

Cool pics but I would be a bit concerned about the quench oil flaming up. Not very good for the oil.
