My sister in law has been diagnosed with cancer.

She was trying to have kids and had went for tests when they found both overies were riddled with cancer.

She is having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that she has cancer and that the operation she will get will leave her without the ability to have kids of her own. She is only in her early 30's.

all positive thoughts on her behalf greatly appreciated.

My most sincere prayers go out to you. I honestly don't think there is a thing in the world that I hate more than cancer.

Smoke and prayers for a speedy recovery, and smoke and prayers for relief from the psychological drain of the situation.

Please keep us posted.

Prayers form Texas. I know she has heard it before, but lots of kids out there needing loving homes.

prayers and positive thoughts.

heart goes out to your sister in law.

Prayers and smoke that the cancer was found early. I hope that your family can focus on the happiness of her life. My sister went through the ovary removal surgery 5 years ago. She was 31. I have been happy each day since then that the cancer hasnt come back.

Oh, man. Smoke and prayers...

My sister-in-law is 11 years free of breast cancer... my wife, only one year.

But people do beat it. Attitude counts...

Moff8, You might want to suggest to your sister that she ask her doctors if this might not be PCOS. (polycistic ovarian syndrome)
MY sister had it, and after surgery, she was OK and now has 3 kids.
Smoke.

Danny - That is what they thought she had and did an operation to check. They found the cancer then and it is in the early stages. They removed one as it was quite bad and left the other with the hope of treating it with Chemo and allowing her to have kids. They left it a few weeks and then had another look but the cancer is very aggressive and they have decided that her best chance now is to remove everything and then dose with Chemo. After that we pray because they aren't making any promises.

Hopeful thoughts and prayers from WV. :)

A young woman I knew beat it and had three beautiful children with only half of an ovary. Help her keep strong.
