Gotta stick around- I've got things to do & it would please the ex too much if I were to croak- can't give her the satisfaction ;)

I know he went in for the surgery a few days ago.

Positive thoughts up from the west coast.
 
He posted over in W&C that he was going under the knife yesterday, so it might be a little early for him to get back with us.

Good thoughts still going out, prayers still going up. :thumbup:
 
Done. I really hate cancer.
 
Here's an update from a fellow knife nut from another forum...posted with his permission.

He looked good, tolerating sips of clears with the promise of a clear diet later today.

He had a pretty busy day yesterday. He didn't get to a room until about 2130 and was, as I had assumed, stuck in PACU (recover room) waiting for a bed while I was playing medical hide and seek.

He was in typical good Rugger spirits and got to meet and visit with his father as well. He sends his best and gave me permission to update ...He'll benefit from our continued good thoughts and prayers as he recovers from his surgery and awaits word from the pathologist as to the extent of spread of his cancer and whether or not he'll require chemotherapy.
