Very good news -- he's home and actually getting up. The Doc said my dog has a disc problem in his neck. The disc must have become inflamed and completely paralyzed him. We originally thought he was overheated and treated him for that at home. When he didn't get better I got him to the emergency vet in the middle of the night. The vet that was there was not experienced enough to treat or diagnose him until the regular vet came in. I'll tell you, that wait was hard -- she didn't give us much hope and we all expected and prepaired for the worse.
