My mom used to be a nurse. She always taught me that doctors are idiots and really don't pay much attention to their patients.

Ain't that the truth! Fourty-four years ago, I came down with Dermatomyocites, a rare disease. For months we went to doctor after doctor, none had a clue. When visiting our seventy-three year old ex-military Opthoamolgist for a check up and him seeing the symptoms, he walked to his library plucked a specific book out of at least a hundred, opened it up, pointed to a passage and stated "this is what you have". Darn if he wasn't correct. Spent two years in the hospital and the next few in a wheelchair. Today no traces left besides eight compression fractures of my spine. Point is, you are correct and if I hadn't gone to get my eyes checked I'd likely would have been dead long ago.

It's true what was mentioned earlier about finding a good Doctor. A friend of mine once said "never forget that half the doctors out there graduated in the bottom 50% of their class."

It took me a while to find one I liked, and half the time I think he doesn't like me!

Constant pain made me lost 25 pounds this summer. By no mean a method I recommend to anyone.
In my case, nothing serious to worry about so all the smoke goes to Bookie.
